Important to know:
All guests must shower before and after floating.
Use shampoo and body wash only before entering and preferably using a cooler water temperature for a nicer first plunge experience.
Guests must remove jewelries prior to floating.
Please wait 30 days after dying your hair to float.
Do not use Salt Floats when under the consumption of alcohol, drugs ,medications or menstruating.
It's important not to shave on the day of your float and not have any open wounds.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to appointment to sign waiver and answer all your questions.

Salt Float Sessions at My Place Wellness Center
Take a break from everyday distractions with a Salt Float session at My Place Wellness Center. Also known as flotation therapy, salt floating takes place in a private tank filled with warm water and a high concentration of Epsom salt, creating a buoyant environment where you can float comfortably with minimal effort. The quiet setting and reduced external stimulation can provide an opportunity to slow down, relax, and focus on rest and personal well-being.
What Is a Salt Float?
Each float tank contains approximately 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt dissolved into warm water. The high salt concentration helps support buoyancy, allowing guests to float while lying comfortably on the surface of the water. During a session, the enclosed environment is designed to minimize outside stimulation, creating a peaceful setting for relaxation. Some guests use flotation therapy as part of their self-care routine, meditation practice, or stress management activities.
Individual experiences vary, and flotation therapy is intended as a complementary wellness service rather than a replacement for medical treatment.
Choose Your Flotation Therapy Session
My Place Wellness Center offers two session lengths to accommodate different schedules and preferences.
- 60 Minute Salt Float Session: The 60 minute Salt Float Session provides dedicated time to disconnect from daily responsibilities and enjoy a quiet flotation experience. This option may be suitable for first-time floaters or guests looking to incorporate regular relaxation into their wellness routine.
- 90 Minute Salt Float Session: The 90 minute Salt Float Session offers additional time in the float tank for guests who prefer a longer, more unhurried experience. The extended session allows you to settle into the environment and enjoy more time for quiet reflection and relaxation.
Private Room and Included Amenities
Each flotation appointment takes place in a private room with access to your own shower. The following amenities are included:
- Towel
- Body wash
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Q-tips
- Body lotion
- Float pillow
- Optional shower cap
- Ear plugs
- Slippers
- Emergency button for contacting an attendant
These amenities are provided to help make your visit comfortable and convenient from arrival through the end of your session.
